I’m proud that nexfibre has been named one of the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For 2025.
This recognition reflects not only the incredible strides we have made since our launch in December 2022, but more importantly it highlights the engagement and sense of purpose of our people, and ultimately the culture we have created at nexfibre.
We’ve created something special.
From the very beginning, we’ve poured energy and intention into building a culture where people are empowered to thrive and grow. With transparency comes high levels of trust, thereby creating a shared commitment to achieving our goals. Everyone feels a sense of belonging and is encouraged to contribute. This inclusive environment lays the groundwork for true collaboration, continuous learning, and meaningful innovation – all of which are core to our continued growth and impact.
One of the Sunday Times Best Places To Work.
We’re very proud to be named one of the Top 100 Small Companies to Work For in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work survey for the second year running – a fantastic recognition of our ongoing efforts to build a great workplace.
The feedback from our team speaks volumes:
- 94% believe we genuinely care about their wellbeing
- 95% of our people say they feel respected and safe at work – everyone is encouraged to speak up and participate.
- 92% feel proud to work for nexfibre
- And all respondents are identified as “enthusiastic remainers” — a strong endorsement of our culture.
Curating a culture to be proud of.
At nexfibre, we foster a culture where our teams genuinely enjoy being together. We encourage connection through weekly team lunches, company-wide meetings, and a variety of engagement initiatives.
Everyone’s birthday is celebrated, and employee recognition cards shared each month, whilst employee-led initiatives include a lively Book Club, competitive football and padel tournaments, and even opportunities to learn a new language. Our monthly newsletter also plays a key role in keeping everyone informed and connected.
Our commitment to attracting top talent, helping them grow, and supporting them every step of the way, is reflected with in-person training, coaching programmes and real-world, pragmatic development opportunities only possible thanks to our non-hierarchical, inclusive approach.
Driven by purpose.
As an organisation spending billions to invest in national-scale infrastructure, with complex challenges and market conditions, it is critical that everyone feels they have a vital role to play and can make a real difference; delivering real benefits for generations to come.
Our people strategy at nexfibre is something I’m incredibly proud of. What excites me most is that we’re only just getting started. Our team has incredible potential, and I’m committed to continuing to champion their growth as we take nexfibre to new heights.
